ONE Fight Night 20 coincides with International Women’s Day and, fittingly, will give elite female martial artists the global spotlight. The bill is topped by two massive World Title bouts. First, reigning ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues will put her gold on the line against decorates Spanish striker Cristina Morales. And that’s just the beginning.
After that, in the main event, ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Janet “JT” Todd will clash with interim titleholder “The Queen” Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom in a matchup between two of the company’s top pound-for-pound stars. Beyond those can’t-miss World Title showdowns, the event will showcase women from all reaches of the globe, with 13 different countries represented across nine total fights.
#2 Janet Todd Looks To Exit On Top
The main event will see an American icon enter the ring for the final time, as atomweight kickboxing queen Todd is set to retire – win or lose – following her World Title defense against Phetjeeja.
At 38 years old, “JT” has already solidified her status as an all-time great, but she hopes to elevate her legacy a step further by taking out the surging Thai athlete in enemy territory. Phetjeeja, meanwhile, has taken ONE’s striking divisions by storm since she joined the organization last year, reeling off five straight wins, including a dominant showing against kickboxing legend Anissa Meksen to claim interim gold.
The 22-year-old phenom will now look to secure her 207th career win, unify the ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Title, and claim her spot as the most dominant female athlete in ONE today.
# 3 Mom-Fighters Throw Down For Gold
For the first time in ONE history, two proud mothers will square off for 26 pounds of gold. Last March, current atomweight Muay Thai queen Rodrigues returned from a lengthy layoff following the birth of her child to successfully defend her gold, defeating “JT” in one of the year’s most electrifying battles.
The Brazilian will go toe-to-toe with a fellow mom in Morales. The Spanish standout claimed kickboxing gold outside of ONE after birthing two sons, and now fresh off a one-sided stoppage victory over Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak, is poised to prove that motherhood hasn’t slowed her down one bit. When the dust settles in Lumpinee, which mom-champ will reign supreme?

While the Californian would come up short in that bout, she has since put together a two-fight winning streak over elite opposition and is on the warpath to another crack at “The Hurricane.” Still one of the most promising young athletes in ONE, Buntan could make it three in a row if she can get past four-time ISKA Kickboxing World Champion Martine “The Italian Dream” Michieletto in their 130-pound catchweight Muay Thai tilt.
