Nobody knows the two main event fighters at ONE Fight Night 19 on Prime Video better than reigning ONE bantamweight MMA kingpin Fabricio “Wonder Boy” Andrade.
This Friday, February 16 in U.S. Primetime from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Andrade’s Tiger Muay Thai teammate Felipe “Demolition Man” Lobo will challenge two-sport titleholder Jonathan “The General” Haggerty for his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title.

Haggerty will come into the contest following a sensational showing against Andrade last November in a fight that earned him the ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Title. Given that background, “Wonder Boy” has firsthand knowledge of exactly what the Brit brings to the table. He recognizes that Haggerty is a high-output, dynamic striker who loves to lead the dance and fire off long combinations to keep his foe on the back foot.
While that approach proved to be effective against Andrade, the Brazilian says his teammate, Lobo, is an excellent counter-striker capable of taking advantage of Haggerty’s unbridled aggression. For example, he says to look at “Demolition Man’s” epic, come-from-behind victory against Thai superstar Saemapetch Fairtex in which he scored a late knockout.
“I think Lobo fights very well against aggressive guys. He has a different way at looking the fight. I think like we [what we saw] against Saemapetch, even though Saemapetch caught him and he got knocked down, but when he saw the opportunity he was able to knock him out,” said Andrade.
Knowing “The General’s” proclivity for aggression, as well as Lobo’s natural punching power, Andrade thinks his teammate is likely to find the finish on February 16.

What’s more, Fabricio Andrade believes that “Demolition Man” will hold the advantage in size and physicality, making him the favorite to take home 26 pounds of gold.
Andrade explained, “I think if [Haggerty] gets too confident going forward, I think Lobo can find the opening and knock him out. He’s got a lot of power, you know, he’s a big bantamweight. He’s very strong physically, so he has a lot of power – he can knock somebody out for sure.”
