ONE on Prime Video 1: Moraes vs. Johnson II, which goes down on August 26, will feature everything from crucial tournament bouts to intense World Title battle, and every matchup looks set to have fans firmly perched on the edge of their seats.

3 Reasons to watch ONE Championship this Friday

Before the historic card takes place, we have broken down three reasons why it will be simply unmissable when it broadcasts live in U.S. primetime from the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Friday night.

#1 An Epic World Title Rematch

ONE Flyweight World Champion Adriano “Mikinho” Moraes and MMA icon Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson will meet for an epic ONE Flyweight World Title rematch in the evening’s main event.

Both men share a mutual respect for one another, but they are eager to get the job done to show everyone watching who the king of the stacked division is.

Moraes believes that he can go 2-0 against the MMA GOAT, and he’s hoping to add a submission finish to the knockout he handed Johnson in their first meeting last year.

“Mighty Mouse,” on the other hand, has been sharpening his weapons, especially his grappling, in preparation to take out the longtime divisional king and claim his gold.

With so much at stake, expect both men to produce fireworks as soon as the opening bell of this duel sounds.

#2 Striking Galore For Everyone

Fans better not blink an eye when the Muay Thai contests at ONE’s debut show on Prime Video light up the Circle.

A plethora of striking-only contests are dotted up and down the card – and all fighters competing in them are certified knockout machines.

Before the main event takes center stage, bantamweight Muay Thai king Nong-O Gaiyanghadao will defend his divisional throne against British striking superstar Liam “Hitman” Harrison.

Nong-O is unbeaten inside the Circle and will be hoping to go 9-0 in the co-main event tussle, but Harrison is determined to beat the Muay Thai legend in order to cement his own status in the sport.

Meanwhile, four stars will vie for the two spots up for grabs in the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix Championship Final. The illustrious tournament has produced some firefights so far, and it’s only going to get more intense from here on out.

#3 ONE’s Heavyweight Stars Ready To Leave A Huge Impression

Heavyweight fights are always exciting to watch – simply because one mistake or miscalculation can result in a highlight-reel finish.

And each colossal fighter on this bill will want to prove that theory right on Friday evening.

Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida will hope to extend his promotional run to 4-0 with another emphatic victory when he takes on former interim World Title challenger Kirill Grishenko.

But the Belarusian powerhouse packs plenty of power in his fists, and he is fired up to slow “Buchecha’s” hype train, so this will be an absolute war.
