Demetrious Johnson has been watching the rise of Stamp Fairtex in MMA, and he believes that it’s only a matter of time before the Thai superstar claims a World Title in the sport. “Mighty Mouse” and Stamp both competed at ONE Championship’s debut U.S. event, ONE Fight Night 10, this past May, with Johnson closing his trilogy with Adriano Moraes in an epic five-round encounter in the main event and Stamp picking up a win against Alyse Anderson earlier on the card.
The former ONE Atomweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion showcased her vaunted striking as she dismantled her American foe in two rounds.

Demetrious Johnson could see the ever-improving Stamp Fairtex winning an MMA world title
In an interview with ONE Championship, Johnson shared his admiration for Stamp and referenced her latest performance when discussing her ever-evolving skill set. “Amazing growth from Stamp. Stamp is really big for the weight class, and strong. Not taking anything away from Alyse Anderson, but I felt that there was a huge size difference when I saw Anderson compared to Stamp,” he said.
The win secured Stamp’s spot in a battle for the ONE Interim Women’s Atomweight World Championship opposite Asian MMA veteran Ham Seo Hee that will go down at ONE Fight Night 14 on Prime Video on Friday, September 1.

With atomweight queen Angela Lee’s competitive future uncertain after the tragic loss of her sister, Victoria, ONE Chairman, and CEO sought her blessing to introduce an interim belt to keep the division moving. Johnson believes that Stamp’s continued growth is making her more dangerous by the day, and he stated that it would take a special opponent to stop her from fulfilling her dream of claiming an MMA World Title.
Can Ham Seo Hee stop Stamp Fairtex’s advance toward an MMA title?
“Stamp has done amazing [with] her development. I think she’s going to have to run into somebody who’s a very big, athletic wrestler [in order to face any] trouble. I don’t see anybody in ONE Championship that’s going to be able to beat her,” he said. “I think she’ll probably be an [MMA] champion here soon.”

Ham may have the tools to stop the Thai superstar’s momentum, however, which makes her a worthy adversary. The 36-year-old has had over 30 professional MMA bout in her storied career, fighting across various promotions around the world. She’s also riding a nine-fight win streak that includes three straight wins in ONE Championship.
