ONE atomweight MMA contender Jihin Radzuan will be watching as a new interim queen in the stacked division is crowned in just over a week, and she has a clear pick on who it will be.

This Friday, September 29, Stamp Fairtex and Ham Seo Hee will battle it out for the ONE Women’s Interim Atomweight MMA World Championship in the main event of ONE Fight Night 14, with their exciting match going live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

With hopes of climbing further up the weight bracket’s rankings, Radzuan has been keeping an eye on the competition while improving her skills and waiting for her moment. She has watched veteran competitor Ham win all three of her bouts in the world’s largest martial arts organization, and she truly believes the South Korean star deserves to have a shot at the gold. ‘Shadow Cat’ is quite familiar with Stamp, too, having lost to the Thai megastar in her last outing at ONE on Prime Video 2 last September.

She has also been training with her over the past few months at the famed Fairtex Training Center, which has given the Malaysian fighter an even greater appreciation for her former rival’s work ethic and talents. In an interview with ONE, Radzuan shared her thoughts on the protagonists of the ONE Fight Night 14 main event. “ONE has gotten two of the best fighters in the division to meet. Both are deserving of the chance to fight for the interim World Title,” Radzuan said. “I think Stamp enters this contest with plenty of confidence, and she’s going to show it. Ham, being a veteran, it’s hard to count her out. Both will come to fight, and I’m excited for it,” she continued.

“It’s hard for me to say [how it will go], but I believe that this is going to be both of them toe-to-toe standing and striking, with Stamp going forward while Ham tries to attack from the back foot.” ‘Hamzzang’ is looking to claim the biggest prize of her storied career that has spanned over a decade and a half. She has shown her incredible wrestling skills and ground control in the nine rounds she has competed in ONE and has added to her winning streak that goes back to 2017 in the process. In her latest outing this past March at ONE Fight Night 8, the Team MAD representative took out judo standout Itsuki Hirata to extend her unbeaten run to nine.

Meanwhile, Stamp is determined to make history by claiming a World Title in a third sport, having previously conquered ONE’s atomweight Muay Thai and kickboxing divisions. She is riding a two-fight winning streak in MMA, and her latest outing saw her stopping American spitfire Alyse Anderson in the second round at ONE Fight Night 10 this past May. When making her prediction on who will take the interim crown, Radzuan says that while it’s difficult to dismiss Ham’s experience, she believes a fully motivated Stamp is more than capable of ending the match before reaching the judges’ scorecards.

“I do not want to jinx anything, but I can see Stamp winning by knockout. However, with Ham’s experience and expertise, I think she’ll have to dig deep to earn it,” she said. “Still, I won’t count her out from knocking out Ham because she has a lot of ways that she can be dangerous, as her win over Alyse Anderson showed. However, if Ham decides to play safe, I think the match will end up becoming a five-round fight. Even if it goes the distance, I’m confident Stamp will defeat Ham.”
