Stamp Fairtex made history late last year, but it hasn’t satisfied her thirst for more success. The Thai superstar became the first athlete to win a World Title in three sports in ONE Championship when she captured the vacant ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Title against Ham Seo Hee at ONE Fight Night 14 in September.
Stamp previously held the division’s Muay Thai and kickboxing belts simultaneously, but she dropped them before beginning her quest for mixed martial arts glory. The Thai superstar is again on her way to endeavor in the world of MMA. Let us understand what Fairtex is up to.

The 26-year-old is scheduled to defend her new strap against friend and former teammate Denice Zamboanga at ONE 167 in June. She was also in attendance at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium this past weekend for the promotion’s all-female card, ONE Fight Night 20, and took time to discuss exciting plans with SCMP Martial Arts following the event.

“After I defend my belt, I would like to try to go up to strawweight to face Xiong Jing Nan,” Stamp said. Xiong has been invincible in the ONE women’s strawweight MMA ranks. Through 11 fights in the world’s largest martial arts organization, the Chinese superstar has only lost once, when she moved down to atom weight to challenge then-divisional queen Angela Lee.
Xiong, a formidable fighter, surpasses Stamp by a notable but manageable three inches (7.͏6cm) in height. Stamp, having achieved success with three distinct atomweight titles, is eager to explore opportunities in a heavier weight class in 2024.͏ Numerous exciting bouts await the Thai athlete on the horizon.

“The Panda” has reigned supreme in her weight bracket since 2018 and stands as one of the most dominant World Champions in all of combat sports. Asked how she thinks a fight between them would play out, Stamp noted that they both come from a striking background and said she believes it could lead to an unconventional MMA fight.
“I guess it will be a little awkward because we’re both strikers. So, I think no one will just go for a takedown. So, it will be a little weird and fun, maybe,” she said. If she wins her next match against Zamboanga decisively and cements her dominance in the atomweight division, the Fairtex Training Center standout could confidently make a challenge for Xiong’s belt next.
