ONE Championship’s stacked women’s atomweight MMA division will see two intriguing fighters square off when the promotion returns to the United States later this year.

American star Alyse “Lil’ Savage” Anderson is set to return to action against Brazilian brawler Victoria “Vick” Souza at ONE 168: Denver, which is set for Friday, September 6 inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

The addition of Anderson will certainly delight fans in the U.S., as they’ll get to see a familiar face representing their country on the ever-growing card.

The Michigan native is coming off a loss in her most high-profile match to date last May when she fell to Stamp Fairtex at ONE Fight Night 10 – ONE’s first event on U.S. soil.

However, with a chance to produce a new memory for her home fans, Anderson will undoubtedly have all her weapons in top condition for September’s show.

The American Top Team representative has six wins in her professional career. At ONE 157 in May 2022, she submitted Indian sensation Asha “Knockout Queen” Roka in the first round to earn her only victory in ONE so far.

Meanwhile, Souza will be looking to further prove that she belongs among the planet’s elite at ONE: Denver.

How many fights has Victoria Souza fought at ONE?

While “Vick” also only has one win in ONE – a unanimous decision victory over Indonesian fan favorite Linda Darrow at ONE Fight Night 7 in February 2023 – she has shown that she doesn’t back down from any challenge.

The Brazilian fighter’s meeting with Anderson will be her second in the next few months as she’s scheduled to take on Japanese star Itsuki “Android 18” Hirata at ONE 167: Tawanchai vs Nattawut II on Friday, June 7, inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

No matter the outcome of that battle, fans should expect her to wage war against Anderson on the latter’s home soil.

Both women have proven all-around skills, no major weaknesses, and have deep gas tanks, so their clash is bound to produce fireworks at ONE Championship’s sophomore event in North America.
