ONE Championship veteran Tiffany “No Chill” Teo got her Atomweight tenure in the promotion off to a flying start with an emphatic victory over Indian wrestling sensation Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat at ONE on Prime Video 2 on September 30.

The former two-time ONE Women’s Strawweight World Title challenger established her dominance from the opening bell and eventually submitted Phogat via a rear-naked choke at 4:52 of the first round inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Tiffany Teo wants a title shot against Angela Lee next

Teo’s win saw her snatch Jihin “Shadow Cat” Radzuan‘s #5 spot in the Atomweight rankings, and the Singaporean martial artist has no plans to move slowly through the stacked weight class from here.

Instead, “No Chill” wants a five-round war against divisional queen “Unstoppable” Angela Lee next.

“The best-case scenario for me was if Angela won [her ONE Women’s Strawweight World Title fight against Xiong Jing Nan at ONE on Prime Video 2]. And if I’m the top contender in Strawweight, then it makes sense for that match to happen. I was at the stadium, I was ready to call her out if that happened,” Teo shared.

“Now, I’m leaning towards a fight at Atomweight. Because I really want to fight Angela next.”

Although Teo failed in her quest to gain the Strawweight gold twice, she gave “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan a run for her money on both occasions.

Teo’s take on a title fight against the “Unstoppable”

“No Chill” would love to finish Lee within the given time frame if they were to square off, especially after “Unstoppable” sounded off on ONE’s scoring criteria following her defeat to Xiong in the main event of ONE on Prime Video 2.

“I feel like she’s a sore loser, right? I feel like, under the ONE Championship rule set, for sure she didn’t win the belt. And also, you can’t just cry over it just because you lost. It’s double standards because when Denice [Zamboanga] lost, she was like, ‘Don’t leave it to the hands of the judges,’” Teo said.

“It might be a bit controversial if it reaches the judges’ scorecards, so in a fight with Angela, I definitely need a finish to not let the judges decide.”
