Adrian Lee is set to make his ONE Championship debut in the next couple of months. The youngest of the famed Lee family will compete in his first professional MMA bout at ONE 167: Stamp vs. Zamboanga on U.S. primetime on Friday, June 7, inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. MMA Fighting broke the news that Lee will take on fellow newcomer Antonio Mammarella in a lightweight match.
18-year-old Lee is the youngest brother of recently retired former ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Champion ‘Unstoppable’ Angela Lee, reigning ONE Lightweight and Welterweight MMA World Champion Christian ‘The Warrior’ Lee, and the late Victoria ‘The Prodigy’ Lee.

At the end of last year, he announced that he signed on to the world’s largest martial arts organization, and he’s now ready to make his much-anticipated debut. Lee has won multiple amateur competitions in various disciplines, and he was expected to eventually follow in the footsteps of his siblings, given that his older brother, Christian, has claimed that Adrian might be better than him because of what he has already accomplished at his young age.

The Lee family stepped back from ONE competition following the loss of Victoria at the end of 2022. Angela ultimately chose to retire and focus on her advocacy for mental health while Christian has spent time considering his options and is said to be looking forward to returning to action this year.
With Adrian competing in the lightweight division, it stands to reason that ‘The Warrior’ would move more permanently to welterweight if and when his brother climbs through the rankings. But the young star first has to make his promotional bow, and will do so in a stacked card.

His opponent, Mammarella, is only 1-0 in his professional career, which means Lee should face a fair test in his first bout since moving up from amateur. ONE 167 will be headlined by Stamp Fairtex’s first defense of the ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Championship against friend and former training partner Denice Zamboanga. Meanwhile, the co-main event will see Tawanchai PK Saenchai defending his ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title against the always dangerous ‘Smokin’ Jo Nattawut.
It was also announced recently that Rodtang ‘The Iron Man’ Jitmuangnon will be back in action on the same card, as he is set to face Denis ‘The Bosnian Menace’ Puric in a flyweight kickboxing match. ONE 167 is shaping up to be another star-studded event, and more exciting bouts are expected to be scheduled as the date draws near. What are your predictions for the event?
