ONE Championship put on another splendid show where they highlighted different martial arts forms. Ahead of the mega ONE on Prime Video 2 card, the featherweight Muay Thai world champion Petchmorakot Petchyindee defended his title against 23-year-old Muay Thai star Tawanchai Pk.Saenchai in the main event at ONE 161.

‘Phetmorakot Wor Sangpraphai’ met one of the toughest challenges of his title reign as a gamed 23-year-old stood across him and went toe-to-toe.
The back-and-forth battle was a story of Tawanchai Pk.Saenchai firing leg kicks & the champion digging deep to extend his reign over 1000 days.
Before the final round, it appeared the challenger was in the lead and only a finish could keep his title. The 29-year-old champion showed intent but his young counterpart did not give him any room. The PK Saenchai Muay Thai Gym athlete’s composure under the chaos looked like a veteran.
Both fighters showed respect after five rounds of madness inside the ONE Circle. The great reign came to an end as they crowned a new champion inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The co-main event at ONE 161 saw Roman Kryklia advance to the finals
Earlier, the penultimate of the ONE 161 had a heavyweight kickboxing showcase. Roman Kryklia and Guto Inocente contested in the heavyweight kickboxing Grand Prix semi-final.
The kickboxers did not waste any time and went straight at each other. The light heavyweight champion got an early knockdown with a fierce shot. Although the Brazilian was able to beat the clock and the fight resumed only for a few more seconds as another vicious blow rocked Inocente.

The ref did not wait for Inocente to fall again and stopped the contest. While the Brazilian protested the stoppage, he looked hurt from the blows from the winner of the co-main event – the three-time light heavyweight world champion.
The win moved Kryklia to the finals of the heavyweight kickboxing Grand Prix.
