Besides eying a hypothetical match against the famed American social media personality, the 27-year-old admits that he wants to cement his status as one of the best martial artists by claiming every possible World Title that ONE has to offer.
“Chatri [Sityodtong] gave me an opportunity. I said to him, ‘Bring everybody. Bring Jake Paul! Anybody!’” the two-division KSW Champion said.
“I chose ONE [Championship] because it’s the biggest [platform] for martial arts in the world. When I throw my hands, I make noise in the arena. I’m not a point-fighter. I go for it. This is my life, MMA, kickboxing, whatever. I want to be the [World] Champion of everything.”
Soldic, better known to fans as “Robocop,” arrives in ONE with a 20-3 professional resume in MMA alongside a highly impressive 90 percent finishing rate.
Though he has never competed in a Muay Thai or kickboxing bout, the Croatian’s striking has powered him to some insane finishes in MMA. Moreover, he owns a perfect 4-0 record in boxing, with all his victories coming via T/KO.
He believes he can be the first athlete to halt Paul’s perfect run in the “sweet science,” which includes wins over two former MMA World Champions in Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.
ONE Championship supremo warns Jake Paul of Roberto Soldic’s skills
ONE Chairman & CEO Chatri Sityodtong certainly shares the same belief.
The lifelong martial artist, who was present alongside Soldic at the presser, is confident that his star signing from Croatia has what it takes to shut the internet sensation down inside the Circle.

“If Jake Paul ends up becoming a superstar in boxing and really becomes a real boxing champion, I would love to put Roberto with Jake Paul,” Sityodtong said.
“I don’t think it’s going to last more than one round, to be honest. Roberto is too good, too slick, too powerful for Jake Paul.”
