Superlek “The Kicking Machine” Kiatmoo9’s first defense of the ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Title against “Mini T” Danial Williams promises to be an intense back-and-forth battle when it goes down in the main event of ONE Fight Night 8, this Friday, March 24.

ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai is as sure as eggs are eggs it will be fireworks, and he expects both athletes to throw down in typical fashion at the star-studded event inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Tawanchai picked Superlek Kiatmoo9 as the victor despite lauding Danial Williams’ skills
When it comes to picking who he thinks will be victorious, however, the man enjoying a blistering 4-0 run in the Circle believes that the defending World Champion will see off the hearty challenger when all is said and done.
Speaking to ONE earlier today, Tawanchai said, “I, personally, like Danial. He is a tough fighter. He has a strong heart and heavy weapons. But I think Superlek is superior than him in terms of experience and physical advantages. His right kick is deadly.”
Despite leaning towards Superlek for victory, the featherweight Muay Thai king is confident that Williams’ ability to take shots and stand-and-bang from close quarters will prevent him from registering another highlight-reel finish against the Aussie-Thai sensation.

Tawanchai added, “I think Superlek will win this fight but may not get KO, because Danial is a tough [fighter]”. Whether or not his prediction comes to reality remains to be seen. But one thing is almost guaranteed when Superlek and Williams meet – a striking clinic will go down.
Both fighters boasted remarkable records to date in ONE Championship
“The Kicking Machine” has dazzled throughout his time in ONE, racking up victories over fellow kickboxing and Muay Thai World Champions and claiming the flyweight kickboxing in the process. For his part, Williams has also enjoyed an overall positive run in the organization. The Perth native’s display in his debut against Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon won him the hearts of the audience, and his switch to mixed martial arts yielded him a 3-1 record in 2022.
