Brock Lesnar is not someone to be trifled with – not only did he end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania Streak, but he also won the WWE Championship seven times. Lesnar’s raw power and brute strength have made him famous all over the world, with fans calling him ‘The Beast’ for good reason. It is no surprise then, to learn how Lesnar lost his cool after a former WWE writer called his wife Sable.

Appearing on ‘The Mike Durband Show’, former WWE booker Vince Russo revealed how his plans to get Sable involved in TNA as an authority figure backfired. “So I got her number, and I called her and a guy answered the phone. I said, you know, can I please talk to Rena? So he gives the phone to Sable. Me and Sable had a long conversation, and she was very, very excited about coming into TNA,” said Russo.

What made Brock Lesnar so angry?

Vince Russo was Sable’s biggest supporter in the WWE and tried to get her hired to TNA when he took over. He gave further details about his conversation with Sable, revealing that Kurt Angle called him nearly five minutes after he hung up the phone with Sable.

Russo explained, “He (Angle) goes, ‘I just got off the phone with Brock Lesnar and he wants to rip your head off. When you called to speak to Rena, it was Brock Lesnar that answered the phone. They’re living together. The fact that you didn’t introduce yourself to him and have a conversation with him before you spoke to her..’

Unfortunately, it seems like Lesnar took the disrespect personally, seeing how Sable never worked for TNA. “I haven’t spoken to her since,” revealed the former WWE and WCW writer.

By now, fans are more than used to Lesnar’s brute strength and massive physique. The 45-year-old Lesnar won the WWE Universal Championship thrice, was once the NCAA wrestling champion, and most impressively, ended the Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania XXX. It is no secret that Lesnar is one of the most terrifying members of the WWE, and Vince Russo was wise to not irritate The Beast further.
