“He is flying 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨️‍🔥️‍🔥️‍🔥”! Does that caption sound familiar? Yep, that was Letsile Tebogo’s reaction when he witnessed Kishane Thompson’s impressive season opener in 2025 at the Central Hurdles. Thompson set a new personal record with his performance in the 60m event. And here’s the kicker, he did it against a -2.1m/s headwind! No wonder Tebogo couldn’t hold back his excitement. Man, Thompson found just the perfect way to win him over. Well, it’s no small feat to impress someone like Letsile Tebogo- the man who smashes his own records left and right!

Remember when he tore through his own Under-20 world record, clocking 9.91 seconds in the 100m? Tebogo also claimed gold at the World Athletics U20 Championship held at Cali, Colombia in 2022.
