This means he’ll be staying in New York as he’s been retained by the side. Also, this means he has landed his biggest contract yet. But this move has been getting quite some backlash from the fans. Why? Well, they feel that the Giants may have splurged a little too much. But, there’s a track and field star who is unhesitatingly with Team Darius!

Anna Hall added Slayton’s contract news to her story with a sweet caption, “goooo!![emoji]” She even penned, “happy for you ❤️” with the post. Only, she missed the podium narrowly, coming fifth in the women’s heptathlon. But yes, the 2022 and 2023 World Championships would have felt different. Her bronze and silver medals would have felt no less extraordinary than a hefty multi-million dollar contract.

But as 2024 started, his figures dropped because Malike Nabers’ drafting pumped uncertainty into Slayton’s role. The result was a weak 39 catches for 573 yards and two scores. But yes, the way he has been helping Nabers with defensive techniques is admirable. Doesn’t seem like money wasted after all!

Also, in 2022, when Brian Daboll and GM Joe arrived, Slayton’s role took a hit. He was buried on the depth chart.
