Well, Sha’Carri Richardson had flaunted a bouquet of red roses with Christian Coleman sharing a playful moment with their pets in the background on February 14. Flowers, her man, and her four-legged furry mates—what more does one need to bring in the day of love? However, the day of love wasn’t all about the quiet morning at home. Turns out, the couple’s evening celebration was way grander!

Taking to Instagram on February 15, Christian Coleman dropped a carousel of images from his Valentine’s Day eve with Sha’Carri Richardson. Dressed in an all-black semi-formal look, the 60m world record holder gave his black trousers, white shirt, and black tie look the most exquisite casual twist with a Palm Angeles jacket and a black cap featuring a cupid’s angel embossed on its side. The sprinter even accessorized well with a silver hip chain placed stylishly at the side of his black bottoms.

Clearly, this series of appealing captures was bound to draw Sha’Carri Richardson’s attention! And it did. She took to the comment box and dropped a one-word reaction, “😍😍😍😍OOOUUUU.” She even took to her Instagram story and reshared Coleman’s post from the night, making it the perfect Valentine’s Day gesture. But did we get to see how Richardson matched the memo for the evening? Well, yes! Luckily, fans got a little sneak peek into their celebration too, as one of the images from Coleman’s post was a couple of pictures of Sha’carri Richardson seated on his lap in a red cut-out sleeve dress. And it was every bit romantic!

Coleman captures Sha’Carri Richardson’s public shoutout

On February 14, Christian Coleman and Sha’Carri Richardson attended the Katt Williams show, where the 2x Olympic medalist was seated in the front row. That’s when she got a special shoutout from none other than Mo’nique herself. The American comedian and actress noticed Richardson in the crowd and announced from the stage, “Sha’Carri, let me tell you something god dammit, you make us so m———— proud. You make us so m———— proud god dammit.” 

The comedian also announced to the rest of the audience that they had someone special, an Olympic gold medalist in the house, which led the entire house to erupt into cheers and claps. Sha’Carri Richardson then gets up from her seat, turns back, and waves to the crowd, thanking them for the applause. And all that is silently captured by Richardson’s proud man right next to her.

Coleman then uploaded this video on his story and wrote, “My Valentine done took over the Katt Williams show [laughing emoji, black heart emoji].” He even tagged Richardson and it did seem like he was a proud boyfriend in that moment!
