Sha’Carri Richardson has long been a fashion force on and off the track. Honestly, calling her just a sprinter almost feels like selling her short. Who could forget her blazing 2021 U.S. Olympic Trials look? That fierce orange hair, those dazzling bedazzled nails, bold eyes,  it wasn’t just fashion, it was a statement.  Fast forward to 2022, and Sha’Carri was still setting trends, rocking bold sunglasses and stealing the show in Marc Jacobs’ Spring/Summer eyewear campaign. And let’s not even get started on that custom Nike Dunk corset she wore courtside at the Paris Olympics in 2024, cheering for Team USA, a whole vibe! But time and time again, the reigning World Champion reminds everyone: she’s not just about style. On April 27, she showed another side of herself that left everyone talking! And what was it?

Honestly, Sha’Carri Richardson showed a whole different side to her fans — and it was every bit beautiful. The Paris Olympics 100m silver medalist went makeup-free, posting three photos on Instagram today with a simple caption: “>>>.” She shared two glowing selfies, rocking long, dark wavy hair and a cozy pink-red top under warm lighting.

Sitting back in what looked like a car seat,  the kind of vibe that makes you feel like you’re seeing a friend, not just an icon. And then came the third slide — a simple but powerful message: “YOU LOOK GOOD.” Big, bold letters, no extra noise. It wasn’t just a post. It felt like self-love.

Rewind to the Paris Olympics last year, Sha’Carri proudly flaunted her natural black locks, a simple grey Nike tee, and a fun printed headband. The best part? A bare-faced, makeup-free boomerang straight from the track! Honestly, it felt like a window into her soul, pure, focused, unstoppable.

Maybe it’s a hint, too? That right now, she’s locked into her own lane, eyes only on greatness. She even said in an interview last year, “My looks are always mixed up. You never know what you’re going to get when it comes to me.” And boy, was she right! Fans got a glimpse of this at the Hayward Field trials last year, no flashy looks, just bold lashes and a fresh ponytail. “Clean, fresh, and fast,” she called it.

Well, it isn’t the first time in a few days that Sha’Carri Richardson has dropped her new look, but the sprinter did the same amidst supporting her partner Christian Coleman.
