Pairing with her Paralympic champion husband, Hunter Woodhall, she proves each time that they are indeed the “golden couple.” Flamboyance at its best, right? In her conversation with World Athletics Inside Track in June last year, Texas native set the record straight about how she perceives herself and her husband, and it is certainly not what you expect.
In that conversation, Tara Davis-Woodhall said, “People think that we’re these superstars and the powerful athletes and power couple, but we are two humans, at the end of the day. She further noted, “People have their bad days, and I think sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly is the most perfect thing to do.” So, she embraces things as they come to her, without any filter. The Woodhalls show up on a beautiful track and field day
The golden couple appeared in Agoura High School to attend the 2nd Tara Davis Invitational. Apart from motivating the budding athletes from more than 30 schools, the couple won hearts by another gesture. In the event, Tara had an opportunity to donate $35,000 to her alma mater. On March 2, the couple’s Instagram handle shared several snaps from the memorable day. One of those photos features the beaming 25-year-old with a mic in her hand, holding the check to be handed to Agoura on the other. Wearing an oversized jacket and his trademark white tee inside, the Paralympian was proudly present by his wife. He was spotted handing prizes and signing the arm of a fan. Moreover, despite the hectic schedule, the Woodhalls didn’t forget to strike a pose together. In their pictures together, the couple could be seen donning their respective Olympic and Paralympic gold medals. That’s quite a statement to make! Overall, we could guess the Tara Davis Invitational met with resounding success, and Davis-Woodhall played a huge role behind it. On February 17 this year, Tara Davis-Woodhall uploaded a clip on her Instagram handle. The clip had several scenes from her childhood and her present situation. Not to miss, the post had an interesting caption. It read, “What would you do with your biggest tax refund yet? For me, it was about giving back. My mom has always been my biggest supporter. I’m lucky I was able to help her pay off the mortgage on my childhood home and now her forever home.” In the video, her voice explained, “To the woman who gave me everything. Who supported all of my dreams. Now she’ll be able to live her dream, living in the house we grew up in, mortgage-free.”

Tara then presented the formal document to her mother, Rayshon Davis Ayers. At first, Rayshon couldn’t believe her eyes. But, in the end, the confirmation left her overwhelmed with emotion. She wept and hugged her daughter for doing the job. Meanwhile, the Olympic champion was content. Her effort brought a smile to her mother’s face. Could there be anything better than that?
