If there is one thing that Noah Lyles likes more than running his mouth, it is floundering his cheques. Don’t believe us? Well, this is the guy who made a custom ring just to celebrate his 2023 world championship by an NYC jeweller. But while Noah might be out there trying new ways to get bankrupt, his girl ain’t for that. Just look at their latest shopping spree, where Noah offered to buy her fiancee Junelle Blomfield a pretty bougee piece of clothing. But Junelle, being the Jamaican she is, she straight up trolled her man, as she said no. But what happened?

With International Women’s Day being celebrated all across the globe, Lyles also made sure to make his woman feel special. And Lyles chose to take his girl shopping to treat her for being a fantastic support system. Documenting the entire journey, Bromfield uploaded the video on Instagram. As soon as they reached their destination, fellow athlete Talitha Diggs could be seen accompanying the duo.

Throughout their shopping spree, Lyles left no stones unturned. From Louis Vuitton to Chanel to Dior, the Olympic gold medalist picked something up from every store for his lady love.  However, there came a time when Lyles got an unexpected reply from Bromfield. While scouring through the outfits, Lyles happened to stumble upon a Chanel Nadow White jacket.

Liking it instantly, the US sprinting sensation wanted to buy it for Bromfield. Pressing his partner to buy it, Lyles stated, “I like this; like the whole outfit put together is one of my favourite styles.” Bromfield then went forward to confirm whether he was sure about his pick. Lyles insisted, “It would look great on you.” What happened next was Bromfield making a hilarious mockery of his beau.

She refused to buy Lyles’s idea of locking in on the white jacket. The Jamaican athlete stated, “I feel it would be giving grandma-ish.” Hearing such a response, Lyles’s facial expression changed visibly, and he looked a bit dejected. Not willing to let his man droop shoulders, Bromfield immediately pointed to a similar jacket which was pink in color. However, with a price tag of $11,000, Bromfield looked reluctant to proceed with the purchase. She instantly did the math and found out that it was equivalent to 7,000,000 Jamaican dollars!

Well, there were also moments where Bromfield enjoyed the gifts bought by Lyles. For instance, Lyles got her a beautiful choke-hold beaded necklace. Excited to see herself wearing it, Bromfield exclaimed, “Oh, I love this. It is pretty right?” Surely, Lyles and Bromfield had a wonderful day out. However, when it comes to throwing money around and making expensive purchases, Noah Lyles is not doing this for the first time. Unlike his better half, he has made a career of expensive crashouts.

Lyles’s penchant for flashy jewelry extends beyond the track. He wore his mariner-link diamond necklace, rumored to feature white, yellow, and black diamonds set in a pavé style, during his gold-medal-winning 100m dash at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Though Lyles hasn’t confirmed the designer, The Village Jeweler in Gainesville, Florida, has previously crafted custom pieces for him, including a rose gold and diamond Cuban link necklace.

Lyles’s bold fashion choices reflect his larger-than-life personality. Whether he’s sprinting for gold or posing for Instagram, Noah Lyles knows how to make a statement — and he’s not afraid to spend big while doing it.
