Tara Davis-Woodhall cannot catch a break! Throwing some challenging curveballs at the Olympic gold medalist, several uncalled medical whirlwinds threatened the lives of the Olympic couple. Initially, it was Hunter’s father who had to undergo open heart surgery. Then, while visiting his dad in Utah, the Paralympian gold medalist clutched his stomach in excruciating pain! What he initially suspected to be a case of lactose intolerance, triggered by blue cheese consumption, actually turned out to be quite serious, warranting an emergency surgery! That’s not even all. Save your breath, for she has had more on her plate!
Following Hunter Woodhall’s emergency appendectomy, there was more. Even after the danger was averted, Davis-Woodhall had to hop into the innumerable events, brand promotions, and more. Thus, the moment Davis-Woodhall got some spare time, she took to her Instagram to upload a photo dump. In doing so, she found support and cheer from a recently engaged Olympian.
“Ohhhhh just another photo dump cause I barely post. Last 6 months was a whirlwind. Traveling, speaking all while training. Can’t wait to get into competition season. Time to do it again,” Davis-Woodhall wrote in her caption. Pictures of Davis-Woodhall spending quality time with her husband, her pets, and being unapologetically herself are bound to infuse people with positive energy. Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas was no exception. Soaking the long jumper’s infectious energy, the sprinter left a comment, “you’re such a vibeee.” We agree to that. Thomas, however, wasn’t the only one to leave a comment under Davis-Woodhall’s mega photo dump.

Hunter Woodhall embodies support for his Olympian wife, so when she posts the cutest carousel of photos, you can see the Paralympic champion commenting sooner or later. Admiring the energy of his ladylove, Hunter Woodhall took to the comment section and wrote, “For sure a stubborn seed.” For the uninitiated, this was a reference to one of the pictures of the long jumper, where the background flashed the phrase, ‘Stubborn Seed.’ Although for Hunter Woodhall this could be nothing more than a simple joke, we can argue that without her stubbornness or perseverance, Tara Davis-Woodhall wouldn’t be as phenomenal as she is today! With the same ‘do it all’ mentality, she is all set to make a big return!

Tara would return to the Prefontaine Classic not just as an Olympic gold medalist but as a two-time World Champion, having claimed both the Indoor and Outdoor World titles. Her undefeated streak leading into Paris, highlighted by a personal best of 7.18 meters, solidified her dominance. Mihambo, the Olympic silver medalist, is looking to make her Prefontaine debut this year. Nevertheless, she, too, arrives with a formidable resume. An Olympic gold from Tokyo, two World titles, and a personal best of 7.30 meters prove her championship pedigree. And this makes her a constant threat to her rivals. Meanwhile, Moore, fresh off a historic double bronze in the long jump and triple jump in Paris, is a versatile queen- she is the first woman to earn a medal at both the long jump and triple jump events at the Olympics! With a personal best of 6.98 meters set at Hayward Field, Jasmine Moore will no doubt be looking to further cement her legacy at the arena.
