We all know carrying too much gold is a no-go—but what if that gold turns into the ultimate flex at TSA? After all, winning the world indoors gold medal in the women’s long jump division, this US track and field star created history. However, basking in glory, en route to returning home, she was met with an unexpected situation on hand. 

Well, it’s none other than the promising long jumper from the U.S., Claire Bryant. Competing in the World Athletics Indoor Championships at Nanjing, Bryant had one of the best outings of her career. While this was her international debut, Bryant announced herself with a bang. With the gold medal shining bright on her, it was time to take the party to her house. But on her way to her flight, Bryant was stopped by the TSA. 

In a recently surfaced video on X, it could be seen that an elderly security personnel was checking her luggage. Soon, he got his hands on the coveted gold medal. Astonished at the finding, the guard had a look of disbelief on his face. He asked Bryant, “Is it gold?” Well, it was evident that the elderly person did not recognize who he was interacting with. Without wasting time, Bryant stated, “Yeah, it’s gold.”

Next up, the US track and field star gave a major flex by announcing her name. Bryant said, “Tell’em Claire Bryant.” Now, that is how one wants to come out of situations! Meanwhile, while this was a lighthearted affair, her performance on the pitch was pretty much a reflection of her iron-clad mentality. Right from the very beginning, Bryant looked like someone with a clear mission. Leading right from the opening round, Bryant never let her dominance fade away. 

Opening with a 6.76m in the first round, Bryant made sure that she only kept building on her lead. Doing exactly what she had planned, her fifth round jump saw her rake up a new personal best. Jumping 6.96m, Claire Bryant made sure that the coveted gold medal would be her for the taking. Well, for the ones amazed at Bryant’s success, she did not do this out of the blue. She has been having a fun time for long.
