The USWNT will return to action against Sweden on 21st July as they play their opening match of the 2020 summer Olympics. The team has many notable stars in the likes of Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morgan, Carli Lloyd, and more. Both the Mewis sisters play in the midfield position for their teams. Kristie plays for the Houston Dash at the club level. Whereas, Sam is a part of the North Carolina Courage team. Kristie is 2 years older than her younger sibling Sam. The duo will play a very important role in the Olympics for the USWNT, to say the least.
