Sprinting legend, Usain Bolt released a music album, ‘Country Yutes’, and he is already soaring in the charts. Alongside his best friend NJ, he released 14 tracks in his record-breaking album.

Usain Bolt might not come from a musical background, but music has always been important in his life. The eight-time Olympic gold medalist took inspiration from his personal life for his new album.

Childhood memories inspiration for the title
Artists often add personal touches to their music to express themselves fully in their music. Bolt also used his childhood memories to make his album.
When Bolt and his family shifted to Kingston, Jamaica, they faced a lot of challenges. Usain Bolt revealed that those inspired the title, as it says, ‘Country Yutes’. The word ‘Yutes’ means youth or the young boy in Jamaica.

Bolt said, ‘Yeah, that’s where I’m from. It’s something that I came up with true to life. When we came to Kingston, we faced some challenges like oh, we’re from the country. We got some negative feedback. We’re country. That’s how we came up with the actual name of the album.’

Interestingly, he has collaborated with his childhood best friend, which makes it a very personal album.

Usain Bolt wants people to see the reality of life
Being an Olympic legend, with 8 gold medals, people might assume that Bolt is living the perfect life. Through his album Bolt wants people to realize everyone has difficulties in their life, that’s what makes life real. The song ‘Days Like These’?focuses on the realities of life. The lyrics go like, “always smiling but inside I am feeling so much pain. “

Usain Bolt also revealed that ‘Days like these’ is his favorite track from his album. People are indeed enjoying and grooving to this new album by the Olympic legend, hopefully, he will come up with more in the future.
