Usain Bolt was the fastest man in the world during his career as an athlete and really had little to no competition when it came to the Olympics. Now retired, unlike quite a few athletes, he has refused to give up on his shape and physique.?

Making the decision to maintain his fitness levels and get back into peak shape by August 21 this year, the 8-time Olympic gold medallist is under a strict schedule even today, four years after his retirement.?

His partnership with Peloton and the ?Train like Usain? promotion has motivated him to get back to the heat even further.

“I love them. And this collaboration is an opportunity for me to show people what I?m really doing now,? Bolt said, speaking to GQ.

“I?m at a point in my life where I just want to be in shape. Do some core and strength work. Get on my bike from time to time. I do a mixture of everything, which is what we all need to be strong.?

Usain Bolt still keeps up with his cardio and leg exercises

The Jamaican admitted that he doesn?t work on the tracks as much as he used to but will still occasionally hit them as part of his routine. Besides that, it’s primarily on the bike.

“I do my Peloton workouts in the evenings, so in the middle of the day I?ll typically do some cardio and leg work with my trainer,? Bolt said.

?If I?m tired after that, I?ll take a nap. Then it?s time for lunch, which is usually a salad with protein. Whatever vegetables are around works for me. Then I just chill out until about 6:00 or 7:00, when I?ll get on my Peloton and do a half-hour ride.?

About to hit 35 years of age, Bolt is as fit as ever and wants to get back to his prime self, a picture of which he has used as motivation while working out. He has also admitted to staying away from snacks he loves, such as Barbecue flavored Lay?s, which apparently he cannot resist.?
