The love between a human and an animal is a bond of trust and compassion. The internet had recently witnessed a sweet moment between a horse and a newborn baby. And the horse is none other than the Olympic star, Valegro. Charlotte Dujardin, three-time Olympic gold medalist, shared a heartwarming clip of her newborn baby with Valegro.

Charlotte has recently birthed a baby girl, Isabella, and is enjoying her motherhood currently. The British equestrian ensures that her horse and baby form a bond of friendship right from the start. Most families usually get a pony for their young, but Charlotte here has a special someone to welcome Isabella into her world.

The association between Charlotte and Valegro is a decade old. As the star duo secured gold both at the London and Rio Olympics, they have claimed many titles in the sport and are often regarded as arguably the best pair in the history of Equestrians. While Charlotte’s life has been pretty good in the company of Valero, the mother has taken efforts to unite her newborn baby with Valero.

With a two-word caption, Charlotte penned her rising emotions at the sight of the union, and said, “My heart” followed by a face-hold-back-tears emoticon and a full heart with Ruelle’s song I Get To Love You. Not only this, but a Facebook post by Charlotte summed up her love for both that said, “All I can say Isabella, is that this horse changed my life, as you now have, and I have so much love for you both and these precious times.”

On a separate note, initially, though Valegro was meant for Carl Hester, a British Olympic horse rider, it was destined to be Charlotte’s lucky charm. And lucky charm, he (Valegro) was. In fact, Charlotte rode Valegro in the 2011 European Championship and the chemistry between them led Charlotte to keep the horse. Stable named Blueberry, the spectators of the 2016 Olympics were a witness to the duo’s best performance with a score of 93.4%. Valegro retired in 2016 and is now having valuable time with his rider and her family. The Gelding now spends his retirement days looking after sweet little munchkin, Isabella.

Fans are All Hearts for the video of Isabella and Valegro

The post went viral with fans reacting with hearts! Edwina Tops-Alexander, the Australian equestrian commented, “This is the best gift in life. Congratulations.” A fan commented by calling out the calm and elderly gelding by his stable name, “Uncle Blueberry!!!” with heart eyes emoji.
