After the successful Tokyo Olympics 2020, all eyes are on the Paralympians aiming for victory. The Olympic legend Usain Bolt followed the mega-event and will now be cheering for the Paralympians.
The Paralympics kick-started on the 24th and will end on the 5th of September 2020. China is leading the medal tally with 42 medals. While, Great Britain is at second with 27, followed by RPC with 26 medals.
Belarus’s Ihar Boki has clinched three gold medals in the swimming events. While the Olympics saw inspiring journeys, the courage of Paralympians is on a whole different level. Olympic legends and champions have come forward to cheer and support these inspirational performers.

Bolt praises the courage of Paralympians
The Olympic legend Usain Bolt has been the face of the Olympic games for years now. Bolt has record-breaking eight Olympic gold medals and world records in the 100m and 200m races.
Usain Bolt took to social media to support the Paralympians. As he posted on his Twitter saying, “Always so impressed and inspired by the courage of Paralympics athlete.”

Notably, Usain Bolt has always been a supporter of inspiring Paralympic athletes. In 2015, Bolt served as a guide for Brazil’s three-time Paralympic sprinting Champion Terezinha Guilhermina.

The Brazilian sprinter Petrucio Ferreira dos Santos has the Usain Bolt title of the Paralympics. Interestingly, Petruico clinched four Olympic medals, two gold, and two silver at 2016 Rio Olympics.
In 2016, Petrucio has broken the world record twice in two days. Ferreira has already opened his gold account in the men’s 100m T47 event. The Paralympic champion established a record by clocking a time of 10.53 seconds.
The Usain Bolt of Paralympics has overcome the worst in his life to become the champion. At two, he lost his hand in an accident with the grinding machine. However, that did not stop the talented athlete who won his school event with no training and borrowed shoes.
