Recently, in one of her interviews with CNN, she talked about why Olympics has a “different sense” among the athletes. However, there were certain aspects of the interview which are certainly very interesting to know about!

Interestingly, Felix raised a very important issue in the year 2019. Apparently, Nike started paying the female athletes lesser, after giving birth to their children. Indeed, it was very courageous for Allyson to talk about this fearlessly on social media. Thus, she brought about a tremendous change when she stood up for something so very crucial!

The reporter asked her about the complete thought process that went behind for Allyson’s end. The reporter asked, “Were you scared to do that?“. Felix had an intriguing answer.

Allyson expressed her concerns by saying, “I was terrified for so long. I had really just focussed on performance and focussed on what I was supposed to do. And when it wasn’t aligning with what I felt was right and what I had seen marketed, I felt like I had to speak up and to share my story. But it was absolutely so scary and also I didn’t know what was going to come from it. And I knew that there were going to be real consequences.”

What Allyson did was inspirational. Since few athletes worked actively towards highlighting such an important issue certainly shows how daring she is. Despite knowing that there will be repercussions for taking such bold steps, she went ahead with it, anyway.

Hence, this makes her an impactful personality to be celebrated thoroughly.
