Every love story doesn’t come with millions of roses, as Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens do! They have had each other’s backs since the day they started dating each other in 2020. During the timeline, the fans saw them in two Olympic editions, multiple elite gymnastics contests, and almost a hundred NFL matches. The mood between the couple has never seemed to have changed. Their focus always looks on offering each other unwavering support. In the meantime, also their bonding has made another change, in a good way.

And recently, another example of it made it to the public!

On January 25, Simone Biles uploaded a carousel of snapshots on Instagram with her husband, Jonathan Owens. The snapshots were from JO’s outings from football and Simone’s perfect match-up with those. Even the set had a few examples of their PDAs, which once turned fans’ heads. But what was the occasion? The post’s caption spilled a bit. It said, “will support my man till the very end proud of you 36! year 7 in the books.” Well, it was about Jonathan’s seven years in the NFL. In 2018, he signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in the 2018 NFL draft. That was just the start for him!

In the next seven years, Jonathan played for four different NFL teams. His stint with the Arizona Cardinals was cut short because of injury. But he found momentum in his next station, the Houston Texans. The Missouri native became someone close to the Texans during the time spent in the NFL club. But as a train keeps changing stations without stopping to enjoy the stories, JO does the same. In the 2023 season, he was with the Green Bay Packers, and the next year, he stepped into the Chicago Bears. In these seven years, the 29-year-old has seen his transfer fee reach a superb level. But where does Simone Biles come in those pages? 

Simone may come on every page from December 2019. How? The couple officially met in March 2020. But the unofficial matters would take a few months back. The couple unofficially met each other in December 2019. Those days, JO was with the Houston Texans, and coming from Houston, Simone had a chance to lead the Texans onto the field. Voilà! The duo came across each other. That occasion sealed their initial story. However, in March next year, they started to date each other. 

The afterward story may not include Simone’s many appearances in JO’s NFL endeavors, but in August 2021, something beautiful came into the story. Simone joined Jonathan at his football practice. Remember, during the Tokyo Olympics, the NFL safety penned a beautiful note for Simone? He even wrote, “Imma ride with you through whatever baby. Your strength and courage is unmatched and you inspire me more and more everyday SB 🤞🏽You always gone be my champ baby and don’t you ever forget that, i love you so much and i can’t wait till you come home and i get to see that beautiful smile again. You know I’m always here for you baby.” It was Simone’s turn to clap at Owens subsequently. 

The prominent example came after their marriage. In August 2023, Simone witnessed Jonathan’s first preseason game with the Green Bay Packers. Meanwhile, the slogan GO 34 came as Simone made it the caption of Jonathan’s clip she shared on social media. In the next timeline, the proud wife kept on appearing in the clutch moments to support her husband. Remember her support for Jonathan when the Packers lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the playoffs last season? Well, she uploaded a few photos of her with the safety captioning, “Love supporting you & your dreams.” Simone Biles is still on that route. But the test was there for her last year, though!

However, for Simone Biles, it was about making a journey to Detroit to meet her husband on the occasion last year. Notably, Jonathan Owens’ Chicago Bears squad was scheduled to lock horns with the Detroit Lions and Simone didn’t want to miss it. But the event tended to be tiresome. But how?

In Chicago, Simone and Jonathan would need some extra help as Jonathan’s several teammates had been scheduled to join them in the house. But doesn’t that mean the end of couple-time? Maybe. But Simone didn’t let it show in her words. In her interaction with US Weekly on November 27, she said, “We’ll just have a chef come and cook.” Later, she added, “I think some of his teammates will come through and grab a plate, especially if they don’t have family in the area. It is a little bit more difficult, but it is kind of nice that we can just relax.” That explains the story. The seven-time Olympic champion has been open to any situation coming from her husband’s side. That’s what makes the story successful in every way. Isn’t it?
