At the age of 6, her parents signed her up for a summer camp—a gymnastics summer camp. And guess what? She instantly loved it. And here she is, making her parents proud.

Now, years later, she is a 4x USA national team member. Caylor loves the thrill of flipping, swinging, and flying in gymnastics. Though her ultimate goal is to make it to the Olympics all around, she is working towards her goal one step at a time. She could fulfill her dream in 2024 but, unfortunately, couldn’t make it to the finals—she finished seventh in the U.S. Olympic team trials.

Dulcy Caylor’s parents have always been a support system for their daughter, be it her gymnastics career or emotional support. While her father supports her without seeing her in public, Caylor’s mother, Amy, has played a crucial role in navigating the complexities of her career. For instance, NCAA regulations and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) policies.
Before NIL, Dulcy would have had to choose between competing in college gymnastics or pursuing endorsement opportunities. However, with the introduction of NIL, her dreams remained intact. That’s when Caylor’s mother, Amy, dedicated hours to reading about the small details of the NIL policies and how she could implement them for her daughter.
Amy once stated, “We’re thankful she doesn’t have to make that life-altering choice to be one or the other.” If that was not enough. But supporting her in her career is not just her mother but also her sister. She has one sister by the name of Riley Caylor, who is a graduate of the University of Houston.
