Selena Harris’ father is Chris Harris, who used to be a wrestling coach. Chris was a coach at Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. And it is safe to say that going to the local gym with her father must have changed Selena’s life. Harris’ competitive mentality was not surprising given that sports appeared to be in her family’s DNA, even though her skills were surprising at such a young age.

According to Harris, “My mom’s side of the family all played soccer, while my dad was a really good wrestler and competed in track and diving.” The 21-year-old shares this passion for athletics and has excelled at some of the top gymnastics levels.
