Much to the legacy of Simone Biles, Biles 1 is one of the 5 moves named after the legendary athlete. With her bravery on Thursday, the athlete is now one of the club of athletes to have pulled off the Biles 1 on the floor, the rest being Simone Biles herself, Trinity Thomas, Hillary Heron, and London Phillips. And now what the fans ask, is she going for the rest of them as well? Clark has an answer.

Appearing on ESPN’s Women Crush Wednesday, on the 5th of March 2025, Brie Clark was asked the same question by the interview that is on everyone’s mind. Talking about the 5 moves named after Biles, she asked, “Are you trying to do any other ones?” to which the gymnast responded with a chuckle before saying, “I wish but I am just sticking.”

The Utah State School passout could not even complete her worst before cracking up again. But do not rule out the possibility that she might pull off any other of these moves since Biles is an inspiration to her, citing, “She’s somebody that I’ve looked up to for a really long time and she’s inspired me throughout my time, doing gymnastics.Biles also had a very wholesome reaction after watching Brie’s heroic.

The Biles 1 is one thing of beauty to watch and one hell of a thing to pull off. It involves a double layout with a half twist; Simone Biles was the very first one to pull off this move and hence was named after. A decade and 2 years later, Brie Clark pulled off the move in favor of the tigers.

The Clemson Tigers women’s gymnastics team achieved a dominant victory over Texas Woman’s University. Sophia Andrews scored a 9.925 on the balance beam, and Maya Thompson scored a 9.900 on the uneven bars. Though Biles 1 failed to secure a perfect 10 for Clark, 9.800 was enough to win.
