“WCC’s newest elite team member, my niece Ronni.” When Simone Biles posted those words on her Instagram Story in May last year, fans couldn’t help but wonder: Was the GOAT dropping a subtle hint? A playful preview of what was to come? Because standing there, wide-eyed and curious, was Baby Biles herself—Simone’s adorable niece, Ronni—stepping into the iconic World Champions Centre (WCC) for the very first time. Clad in a tiny black leotard, an almost perfect replica of the one her aunt wore at the 2023 Xfinity Gymnastics Championships, Ronni was already serving champion vibes—even if she was barely two years old. But did we see any future development?

Of course, at that age, Ronni, aka Baby Biles, didn’t know a thing about Yurchenkos or wolf turns. She had no clue about the weight of gold medals or the pressure that comes with greatness. But she knew one thing: her “TT” was magic. And if TT could flip, fly, and soar, then maybe, just maybe, Baby Biles could too. A few days before that, on May 4, Ronni’s mom, Sammi Biles, captured the moment that had hearts melting. She uploaded a TikTok clip of the tiny tot at WCC, and it was pure joy in motion. In the video, Baby Biles threw her hands in the air—not with the precision of a world champion, but with the unrestrained glee of a child. Her chubby little arms shot up in triumph, mirroring the iconic victory pose her aunt had struck on mats around the world. Was it a perfect salute? No. But was it absolutely perfect? Yes. And yet again, there has come another gymnastics move from the 2-year-old.

On March 29, Sammi Biles once again gave the world a front-row seat to her daughter’s rising star power. She posted a clip on her Instagram Story that had everyone probably saying the same thing: ‘The Biles gene is real.’ In the clip, Baby Biles—now a tireless 2-year-old force of nature—was back on the mat at World Champions Centre (WCC). And this time? She wasn’t just throwing her hands in the air. No, she came to amaze people. With the fearlessness of a future champion, the tiny gymnast pushed off the mat and tried to hold a handstand.  Baby Biles’ little legs wobbled ever so slightly, but she tried to keep her balance like a pro. Her tiny hands pressed firmly to the mat, her face lit up with unstoppable joy. The best part?

There was no hesitation. No overthinking the execution score or worrying about form deductions. Just pure, unfiltered gymnastics joy. Meanwhile, proud mama Sammi couldn’t help but gush. She captioned the clip with the sweetest words: “another weekend another work event ❤️ but our girl came to visit mommy & daddy.” But let’s be real—Baby Biles wasn’t just visiting. She was stealing the spotlight. Because right after attempting a handstand, the adorable gymnast did something that screamed “Biles.” Without missing a beat, she threw her right hand into the air, acknowledging the clapping with a champion’s flair. It was part victory salute, part Simone-esque showmanship, and 100% Baby Biles magic. And let us tell you, Simone Biles‘s niece is someone who learns by watching. Evidence?

In January this year, Baby Biles showed up at the Simone Biles Invitational. No. She wasn’t registered in the age group, but she was there to cheer for the competing gymnasts and learn one or two things about the sport. And see what she has done in just two months! However, Simone’s niece isn’t someone to stop at only one gymnastics move. She has a few more things in her gymnastics story, even at this age.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Baby Biles destined to follow in her aunt's legendary footsteps, or is it too soon to tell?

Simone Biles’s niece is right on her path

On March 3 this year, Simone Biles’s niece, Ronni, once again proved that gymnastics is simply in her DNA. In a playful Instagram Story clip, the 2-year-old  was seen having a blast on what seemed to be a baby trampoline. But here’s the thing—Ronni wasn’t jumping. Nope.
Instead, she got creative. With her tiny hands gripping the trampoline handle, she swung herself across it with all the confidence of a future bar specialist. Her face beamed with pure joy as she effortlessly transformed the simple equipment into her own mini gymnastics apparatus. Unbelievable, no?

At just 2 years old, Baby Biles is already showing off her bars’ flair, turning everyday playtime into impromptu gymnastics training. Because while most kids her age are still mastering the art of walking, Ronni is busy perfecting her swing technique. Her playful creativity is a clear reminder that when you’re a Biles, gymnastics is more than a sport—it’s a part of who you are. Because if she’s turning trampolines into uneven bars at 2, just imagine what she’ll be doing in a few years. The next generation of Biles greatness is already warming up.
