Simone Biles’ dream life seems to have begun now! Yes, she has been at the top of her gymnastics game recently, with accolades pouring in from all sides. Also, with a partner like Jonathan Owens, each day can feel special and dreamlike, right? Well, no one is snatching away all that from her. But there’s a brand new addition to the list after a loooong wait of two years. Yes, you guessed it right! Her grand mansion might finally be ready for the mega reveal…

On January 25, Simone Biles posted an update that she and Owens are finally bidding farewell to the Bears’ home in Chicago. Clearly, after the NFL season had wrapped up, it was time to get back to the basics. And that, for them, not only implies Houston, but also their lakefront Texas abode, which has been under construction since September 2023. But with the latest sneak peek, it looks like the mansion might be just ready for a housewarming gala!

Having said that, the next day, on January 26, Simone Biles added another snap on her Instagram Story, hinting that her dream house might finally be ready. She shared an adorable mirror selfie of herself, with her husband standing right behind, leaning, and kissing her on the head. Well, this right here was the dream, right? To stand by each other’s side in their lavish mansion? The couple can now tick that off. However, this wasn’t just a cute moment. The image gives us a glimpse into probably their brand-new kitchen with a white-black abstract top, wooden cabinets, and exquisite golden faucets.

The glimpses look unreal, and the wait has been exceptionally long. Thus, what the couple might be hoping for now is the moving-in day. And that might soon happen, per what Simone Biles had informed in November 2024. She’d told US Weekly, “At this point, we’ve waited so long for it to be built; we’ll just wait until after the [NFL] season to move in.” Back then, she’d also given an update that a few areas were still shaping up, like the backyard, the half-basketball court, and the barbeque pit. As for the kitchen, that was ready around the time when Biles returned from Paris itself.

But new beginnings mean the old patterns have to come to an end, right? The same struck Simone Biles when she was ready to leave Chicago on January 25. No wonder she penned a heartfelt goodbye note: “Farewell to our time in Chicago see you in a few months.” She even posted a snap of her packed suitcases all lined up to go with another note that read, “Houston we are coming for ya”. 

A few hours later, Simone Biles was straight up standing in her dream house with her husband, who had just wrapped up the 2024-25 NFL season with his last match against his former home team, the Green Bay Packers. Notably, the Bears won the game 24-22, not only snapping a 10-game losing streak dating back to Week 8, but also winning the first game against their divisional rivals since the 2018 season.

As for Biles, she’s also soaring the skies, evidently thrilled to start living in the mansion, and it’s clear to see why.

A 4000-square-foot abode with four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a lavish pool, and so much more—this is what Simone Biles’ house entails. So, how much has the gymnast had to spend on it? Well, the cost of her Houston home rounds up to a whopping $3M. As per the New York Post, the property itself costs less than $750,000, bought by the 11x Olympic medalist and her husband in 2020. And how is there such a massive difference? It’s all the money she’s pumped in to making the house her home.

High ceilings and all the amenities that one could think of—it’s all there in Biles’ Houston abode. A natural garden, recliners lined under an iron canopy, and a pool that cost her approximately $50,000, with a raised hot tub—they’ve got it all. Clearly, they have not been light on their pockets.
