The offseason is over, baseball is coming back and so are our favorite players. Training has begun, the batters are swinging their best, and the pitchers are throwing like they are in a war. Pittsburg Pirates’ Paul Skenes has dropped a warning on his Instagram and the other teams might or might not have taken notice, but his girlfriend Olivia Dunne did and she couldn’t stop girlfriending in the comments.

“Knew something felt hot in here.” Commented Livvy on Paul’s recent Instagram post. The comment most probably was a response to Paul’s caption “Heating up” or maybe Liv was being flirty or maybe both. What’s not, maybe, is that the LSU gymnast is missing her boyfriend and vice versa.

Paul posted a series of pictures on Instagram on 20th February from the spirit training session. The pitcher can be seen focused, taking his form and gripping the ball, ready to make this one count as a strike. In another one of the pictures, he can be seen with another one of the Pittsburg Pirates, Joey Bart.

With his heating-up caption, Skenes has made it clear to his opponents that his engine is just revving up and the speed of the balls in actual matches is going to be faster than the ones in training. The 2024 NL Rookie of the Year 2024 is one of the favorites for the 2025 Cy Young Award.

Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes share a long-distance relationship. The year-round competitions keep both athletes busy and rarely get a chance to meet, not even on Valentine’s. But as they say, love knows no bounds, the two always look out for a meetup whenever they can, like Olivia stealing 24 hours to meet Paul in between her NCAA Duties.

Paul Skenes and Oliva Dunne are the power couple as of right now and the blessings for the two not only come from the fans of their sports as Olivia’s an icon on social media. It was her Instagram story that drove the fans crazy as they noticed the LSU gymnast on a holiday with her boyfriend. The photo featured the two of them, completely submerged in the vibes of their holiday against the beach backdrop.

It was a great way for the couple to get their batteries to 100%. Both these individuals are the MVPs in their sports and to run off to a beach is the best thing for both of their mental and physical health. Olivia is already recovering from a knee injury and, as for Paul, he always had that spotlight on him ever since he signed the professional deal.

Paul would next be seen in the Pirates’ sprinting session on 22nd February. It would be interesting to see how heated up the pirate is and what next comment Olivia has for him ?
