Looking for the ultimate jack of all trades? Look no further than Olivia Dunne. Her collegiate career is the perfect example of an ideal student-athlete who dabbles in the best of both worlds at LSU. The world behind the cameras and the one in the gym, where she’s in the purple gold leo. And this credibility that she has created for herself shows. No wonder another organization has now trusted her with an exciting new venture, while there were still 3 others way higher up on the NIL valuation list than her. Doesn’t that make you think, why Livvy?

Well, we ask, why not, Livvy? She’s ranked No. #4 on the On3 NIL valuation list as of March 2025. She’s the only female student-athlete who ranks in the top 100 on the NIL charts, too. Here are a few more facts that drive the point home. Olivia Dunne is a social media sensation with a following like no other student athlete. Yes, with 5.3M followers on Instagram and a whopping 8M on TikTok, she’s the only athlete in the top 100 to have entered the million range. So, the dominance is quite clear. Thus, choosing her is often a no-brainer for brands. No wonder a banner factored in all this before they made a major decision recently!

As per a March 31 Instagram post by AthleteCon, which stands for The Athlete Content Creation Convention, Olivia Dunne has joined hands with them via Livvy Fund, which is now declared as an official AthleteCon partner. For context, AthleteCon is a unique event designed specifically for college athletes to help them understand and maximize their NIL opportunities. On the other hand, the Livvy Fund is an initiative by Dunne to help female student-athletes at LSU strengthen their footing in the NIL landscape by connecting them with brands and providing business/marketing guidance.

Now, many may wonder what made the AthleteCon stand out to Livvy. Well, on the occasion of this new collaboration, Livvy explained, “AthleteCon is the only NIL event where athletes receive hands-on training on the latest technology to build their personal brand. I am excited to announce Livvy Fund’s partnership.”  On the other hand, if you’re thinking about why AthleteCon chose Olivia Dunne, well, isn’t it obvious? No one has a following like hers.  In fact, the brand itself explained, “Led by Olivia Dunne, the most followed NCAA athlete with over 15 million social media followers and a true pioneer in NIL brand building, the Livvy Fund is opening doors by empowering athletes with the tools and partnerships they need to thrive in the NIL landscape.”

Well, Olivia Dunne would have been an obvious choice for AthleteCon. After all, the kind of earrings she had made from capitalizing on NIL opportunities are unparalleled.  In 2023, when she was asked the highest price she has ever gotten paid for a single post, Livvy had mentioned, “I usually don’t ever talk about money, but … I would say, six figures.” When asked to further break it down, if it was over or under $500,000, Livvy suggested that she received over half a million dollars. Well, that’s just jaw-dropping! She later clarified, “Yeah, yeah, I’m very fortunate.” Well, imagine if such an expert could team up with a brand that helps student athletes benefit from NIL deals. No way AthleteCon was going to let Livvy slide through!

Well, way to go, Olivia Dunne. Both Livvy’s sister and mother were overjoyed at her achievement, too. Julz Dunne commented on AthleteCon’s announcement post with an ecstatic “Woohoo!” while Kat Dunne simply chimed in to clap her hands, “👏👏.” However, while Livvy’s NIL successes continue to add up, the same cannot be said about the gymnastics scene. The NCAA finals are just an arm’s length away, and LSU’s battle for title defense is on. But what about Olivia Dunne?

So yes, the Tigers are slated to begin their journey to the NCAA Gymnastics Championships at the Penn State Regional, which starts on Thursday, April 3. And, and, and we are sure LSU is entering the competitive zone with great confidence. After all, Olivia Dunne and the LSU Gymnastics team are entering the NCAA postseason as the No. 1 seed for the first time in program history. Yes, they bagged their 40th straight regional berth just a few days back.

However, amidst this history, Olivia Dunne’s role for the LSU was quite limited. And it remains unclear if she’ll be part of any matches going forward. And that’s because Olivia Dunne retired hurt from the LSU core team recently, after an injury caused her to miss both the senior night and the SEC finals. She has an avulsion fracture of her patella in her knee, which is keeping her away from the mats, and it’s unclear if she will show up for the finals or not. But despite that, she came to cheer for her team at the SEC finals. So we can expect her to be present at the big LSU meets going forward, too!
