The 2012 NASCAR Cup Series Championship was an amazing year filled with action. It was a little more special for one driver who had just picked up his second-ever Cup Championship title win. The championship-winning driver appeared drunk for the live TV interview, during his celebrations with fans. The clip of the interview has been doing rounds on social media once more and fans can’t get enough of it.

The driver in question was Brad Keselowski, who was driving for Team Penske during that time. The 2012 Championship marked his second title and the celebrations that followed were whirlwind. Keselowski admitted to his intoxication. “I have got a buzz going here. I have been drinking for a little bit,” he said while laughing and chugging beer from an enormous glass. As the interviewer asked questions to the Team Penske driver, his answers got funnier and his voice even squeakier.

He repeatedly thanked his team, acknowledging the great effort they put in over the season. Often he even answered completely different things compared to what the question was regarding. Keselowski‘s interview went down in history as one of the best and most hilarious post-race celebration moments that have ever taken place.

NASCAR fans could not contain themselves

Fans who found the clip once again could not hold their laughter, as they termed it, to be one of the best championship celebration interviews. Other fans also stated how NASCAR would never allow this to happen today, mostly owing to a drunk man rambling irrelevance on television would not sit well with people in the current times.
