Champions League finalists Juventus have completed the signing of the hard-hitting Sami Khedira from Real Madrid on a 4-year deal.

In an attempt to add more mettle to their midfield, Massimiliano Allegri has convinced Khedira to join his project at Turin. Sami Khedira, who had effectively been replaced by German compatriot Toni Kroos upon the latter’s arrival, is said to have welcomed the challenge Serie A shall pose.

It is believed that with Andrea Pirlo departing within a year or two, Khedira will provide some additional steel to the Juve midfield with Marchsio, Vidal, and Pogba taking up play making duties.

With less than a month left for his deal at Madrid to expire, Khedira believes that this to be the perfect time to relocate to Turin with the transfer coming into effect on the 1st of July.

On their official website, Juventus announced that, “Bianconeri boss Massimilliano Allegri is set to add a player of class, quality and international experience to his ranks, ready to enrich one of the strongest midfields in the world.”

The deal will expire on 30th June, 2019.
