To say that NXT: Great American Bash was a good show would be an understatement. The show featured great match-ups with three title matches, and the highlight was the main event between Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly.

Cole and O’Reilly have been in a heated rivalry ever since The Undisputed Era split. The two athletes have faced each other 2 times with Kyle winning their first bout and Cole winning at Great American Bash.

The show kicked off with tag team action where the Tag champions MSK faced off against Tomasso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher. The match was great with transition moves flowing back and forth between the wrestlers. Eventually, MSK retained the championship with a win via pinfall.

Later, officials revealed the competitors of the NXT Breakout Tournament tonight. Superstars, Trey Baxter, Carmelo Hayes, Andre Chase, Josh Briggs, Ikemen Jiro, Joe Gacy, Odyssey Jones, and Duke Hudson will take part in the tournament.

Will Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly go for their third bout?

With Cole grabbing the victory on Great American Bash and making it 1-1 between the wrestlers, his rivalry with O’Reilly is far from over. Their match at Great American Bash was truly the highlight of their respective careers, with neither man backing down. Now, what will be the aftermath of Cole’s victory? Where will this rivalry go?

 

Kyle O’Reilly beat Adam Cole in a vicious unsanctioned match at NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver. Cole and Kyle weren’t afraid to go out there and deliver a brutal, hard-hitting match against each other. Working together for such a long time helped Kyle to figure out Cole’s moves, and finally, he put Cole down for a count of three.

With Cole’s victory on Great American Bash, O’Reilly would love to put this rivalry to an end by booking a third match between the two wrestlers. Both the wrestlers are no strangers in facing each other. The former Undisputed Era members have not only met in the NXT PPVs, but also back in CZW and ROH before signing the deal with WWE.

With pride and ego on the line for both wrestlers, it is just a matter of time before they fight once more to put an end to this rivalry once and for all. With Cole’s recent win, the momentum is with the former NXT champion. Can he maintain it? Or will Kyle roar back?
