Former Manchester United and Everton boss David Moyes has ruled out a possible return to the Premier League, saying that he is happy in Spain after guiding Real Sociedad to a 12th place finish in the La Liga since taking over from Jagoba Arrasate in November.
The 3-time LMA Manager of the Year winner has a good track record in the Premier Legaue having spent 11 years at Everton. Moyes then replaced Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United, but he never got going at Old Trafford and found himself sacked before the season ended. Since taking over at 15th placed Sociedad, Moyes has had a decent season, guiding them to 12th place including a famous 1-0 win over eventual champions Barcelona.

Premier League sides West Ham United and Newcastle United have both been reported to be interested in bringing the Scotsman back to the Premier League but Moyes insists that he wants to continue working in Spain.

“I’ve told everybody I will be in Spain next year,” Moyes told Sky Sports programme ‘Revista de La Liga’.
“I had plenty of opportunities before I went to Spain to stay in England, and I had made a decision that I would go and work in Spain.

“I wanted to try something different, wanted to try new culture, work with different players and see how La Liga works, and I’m really enjoying it.
“It’s a great club, I’ve had great fun as well.”
