Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been a bestseller since its release in March this year. It is now the third fastest-selling game of the year in the US. And that’s partly because of how relaxing the game is. It does not require violence to complete objectives and missions. All you need to do is catch bugs, go fishing, customize your house, and more of such relaxing and normal activities.
Nintendo keeps introducing additional features and content to keep the spark alive. However, like every game, Animal Crossing isn’t immune to bugs that hamper its gameplay. As a result of this, Nintendo has unfurled a new Animal Crossing: New Horizons update 1.4.2 for the Nintendo Switch that addresses various bugs.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Bug Fixes and Updates
This update isn’t as exciting as we thought it would be. It doesn’t add any additional features or content but fixes a few major issues along with some minor ones. But these bug fixes are an attestation of the fact that Nintendo aims to deliver and is living up to the expectations it has set.
Dreaming is a feature that Nintendo added in the game just a few weeks back. It allows you to visit other players’ islands in your dreams. One major bug would crash the game repeatedly ‘under certain conditions’ while dreaming. It has now been fixed so you can go back to dreaming away to glory.
Another bug would cause the shining soil to appear behind buildings and other places. This shining soil indicates the presence of bells and hence the bug would make it difficult to discern the real spots. The patch has fixed that as well.
