When popular streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins moved to Mixer, Twitch ended their partnership with him. However, they did not reset his followers even after the deal. Since his return to Twitch, Ninja has been growing strong. His views and followers have been increasing rapidly, helping him achieve milestones no one else ever has.
Last night Ninja hit 16 million followers on Twitch. He shared his achievement on Twitter while also sharing a clip from one of his recent Valorant games.

Ninja has a comfortable lead over the other top streamers on Twitch in terms of followers. Right behind him are Tfue and Shroud who trail the top streamer by 6.86m and 7.70m followers, respectively. It is going to be way too long until anyone comes close to Tyler’s feat.
Wife Jessica and Twitch among those who congratulate Ninja
It was Tyler’s wife Jessica Blevins who made the announcement about Ninja’s achievement on Twitter. She posted the tweet 20 minutes before Tyler himself told his fans about it. Once the word got around, the felicitations started pouring in. These included big names such as TimTheTatman and the streaming platform Twitch itself.
Congrats to @Ninja on still being the number 1 followed streamer on @Twitch AND hitting 16 million followers! So proud of you!

While congratulations have been pouring in continuously, there are always a few who feel like ruining the celebrations. Some users weren’t happy to see Twitch promote Ninja after his fickle behavior switching between platforms. They feel that the streaming platform should support and encourage smaller and upcoming users.

However, it makes sense to chase a streamer who has the highest follower count on the platform by a long shot. Additionally, Tyler is the only active individual steamer in Twitch’s top 5 most viewed channels. Therefore, the partnership between Twitch and Tyler is mutually beneficial for both.
Ninja has been doing really well since his return to Twitch. He is also in the works with a deal with Adidas that will increase his net worth by a large margin.
