Before his Fortnite days, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins was a competitive player for Halo 3. Even when he moved over to streaming initially, he kept his aggressive nature intact. Fans who followed Ninja during his formative streaming years know him for the constant cursing and raging.

As Ninja grew to fame with Fortnite, he realized a majority of his audience was young kids. Therefore, he had to cut back on certain aspects of his streaming and become more family-friendly. While he kept up the clean behavior, he often slipped up back into his old ways whenever someone pushed him over the edge.

During a recent Valorant match on stream, Ninja went through something similar. Tyler was in a Radiant ranked game when he came across a 17-year-old who was being difficult. His teammate was underperforming, being toxic, and constantly ignoring callouts. Therefore, the streamer had no other option than to go back to his old ways and teach him a lesson.

Ninja doesn’t buy “it’s just a ranked match” excuse from the 17-year-old

Tyler asked his teammate to “shut up” and not be toxic. However, his teammate, Polo, started attacking the streamer about his personal life. He said, “I don’t give a f*** who you are. I don’t give a f*** what your net worth is.”

Everyone on Tyler’s team found this to be totally unnecessary.

At this point in time, Ninja was really over the edge. The streamer was trying to hold himself back, but Polo had crossed the line. Enraged, the streamer said, “how about I ask you to shut the f*** up and stop playing this game because you are f***ing awful at it?”

To this Polo replied, “you’re talking to a 17-year-old” which made no difference to the streamer as he said that he would have said the same thing even if Polo was 12.

Things took an even more heated turn when Polo said he doesn’t care since it’s just a ranked match. All those who play Valorant know how hard it is to climb the rank ladder and how easy it is to fall. Radiant is the highest rank in Valorant, and achieving that is nothing short of an achievement. Therefore, Ninja asked him if he doesn’t care about the rank, and is not a pro player, then is there anything he was serious about?

Most who watched the clip of the incident sided with Ninja in the Twitter thread. They know that things can get heated in games a lot of times. However, there was no need for Polo to take things to a personal note. In a normal scenario, people would have called Tyler out, but this time, everyone knew the kid deserved it.
