With the ongoing discussions regarding Nick Kyrgios’ tenure on the professional tennis track, the tennis pundits expressed their opinion on his ‘the ATP is pretty corrupt’ statement and his elucidation on the ‘double standards’ of ATP.
Regardless of his quicksilver behavior on the tennis courts and press conferences, it is said that Nick Kyrgios is one of the gifted tennis players on the tour. He could possibly achieve great heights in the field of tennis. Recently, Toni Nadal spoke about Kyrgios’ behavior and he believes that he is mentally disturbed.
“It’s a shame because he could be one of the best players in the world. He has many things that make him a great player. He is smart on the court, he has a good volley, great serve, good backhand, he is a great attacker, he can easily take the ball early but he is a bit lazy and I think he has some issues with his mentality in the attempt to achieve big goals,” Toni Nadal said.

Nick Kyrgios might not be diligently playing against low-ranked players, but against top-ranked players, he plays next level tennis. Also, he is always looking forward to playing against the ‘Big Three’ of tennis.
He is delighted whenever he finds himself in the same quadrant as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic during Grand Slams. “Sometimes he struggles with normal opponents and he is happy competing against Federer, Djokovic, and Nadal. But in order to win the title, you also have to beat other players,” Toni Nadal continued.
Nick Kyrgios has sailed into the third of US Open 2019 by defeating Antoine Hoang 6-4, 6-2, 6-4 in the second round. He usually raises the collar of his t-shirt during matches and yesterday, he happened to do the same.

He was told to fold it since Nike’s motto written underneath it, “Just Do You” contravened the rules. In the midst of the match, Kyrgios spoke to the match supervisor and said, “I’m not going to play until you show me the rule. I want to know the rule. I want to see the rule. I’ve seen shirts worse.”
