The Chiefs and the Broncos are turning up the heat at the Empower Field at Mile High right now. The much-anticipated match is rightly living up to its hype. After the humiliating defeat against the Chiefs two weeks ago 19-8, Russell Wilson is leading the charge and has managed to secure two early TDs in the first half itself.

Patrick Mahomes and his team need to step up their game pretty fast or the Broncos are on their way to create the upset of the week. The Chiefs need all the motivation right now. In the absence of Taylor Swift, the team seems to be taking a hit. But who could provide this much needed motivation? Well, it’s none other than longtime radio broadcaster and play-by-play announcer of the Chiefs Mitch Holthus.

Holthus achieves an impressive landmark!

Holthus joined hands with the Chiefs way back in 1994 and has been the voice of the team for nearly 30 years now. It’s the longest tenure for any broadcaster in the history of the Chiefs. The voice of the Chiefs secured another mind-blogging milestone in his career today. The Chief’s IG handle broke the news through a post just a while ago.

Mitch Holthus has appeared in 500 games for the Chiefs. And it is the longest run by anyone. The post congratulated the veteran with a sweet caption “That’s a whole lot of TOUCHDOWN KANSAS CITY’s. Congratulations on your 500th game, Mitch!”. The reference ‘Touchdowns’ will surely turn your heads in all the right ways.

Can Mitch raise the Chiefs with his voice?

While Russell Wilson has scored two TDs already, Patrick Mahomes still has some catching up to do. The Chiefs have scored 3 points only and that too on the back of a 23-yard field goal by Harrison Butker at the last minute of the first quarter. He also managed to kick the ball again in the second quarter for another 34-yard field goal.
