The Kansas City Chiefs have been one of the most dominant teams in the NFL in recent years. And after drafting Patrick Mahomes as their QB in 2017, they have gone on to win two Super Bowl championships in recent years. They have always boasted a formidable roster, creating teams that have been forced to be reckoned with in the league.

And recently, a particular list shared has three Chiefs players in it, with two of Mahomes’ teammates taking up the top two spots. One of them is still with the QB, and the other has parted ways with the Chiefs, leading to the other franchises kicking their luck on missing out on these talents.

Recently, ESPN released a list. The list contained the top 50 NFL draft steals of the decade. Before the list starts, they explained the ground rules of these picks. According to them, the list has been compiled with draft picks between 2013 and 2022. And with the exclusion of first-round picks, the list contains players drafted 15 spots later than they should have been.

And sitting at the top two spots were TE Travis Kelce and ex-Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill, who later on signed with the Miami Dolphins. Kelce was a late-round-2 draft pick because of his suspension in college. But he has now solidified himself as one of the greatest TE in the NFL. On the other hand, we also saw Tyreek Hill sliding out in the 2016 draft because of the accusations of him physically assaulting his pregnant girlfriend. But the Chiefs drafted him in the fifth round, and now he is regarded as one of the most formidable wide receivers in the league. We also saw DT Chris Jones in the 12th spot on the list. Becoming one of the most important pieces of the Chiefs’ defense, he was drafted in the second round in 2016. And now, he is currently awaiting a new contract extension from the team.
