The debate about the greatest quarterback of all time has been going on for quite some time with two footballing giants pitted against each other a lot. Whenever the question of the NFL GOAT pops up, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are two names that immediately come up. However, Allen Lazard has his choice of QB.

It is safe to assume that this is bound to be an everlasting debate, as stans of both legends refuse to cave in even a bit, and for a good reason. Both of these legends have redefined the meaning of success within the NFL, and have asserted themselves as the best at what they do. With a number of takes on who’s the better quarterback, Aaron Rodgers’s teammate with the Green Bay Packers, Allen Lazard also recently chimed in on the matter.

Amid all the Super Bowl festivities, Allen Lazard had a  brief interaction with TMZ sports. According to Lazard “The greatest of all time. Not might, no might. Drop the might. He’s the G.O.A.T. The best person to ever pick up a football and throw the ball, I’ll leave it at that.”

Lazard went on to proclaim himself as Rodgers’s biggest supporter. “I am an Aaron Rodgers fan at the end of the day, I am a core Aaron Rodgers fan. Catching passes from him has, you know, it’s been a highlight of my life, my career, and everything” he went on to tell TMZ Sports.

With Rodgers’s future with the Green Bay Packers up in the air, another one of his teammates, Aaron Jones revealed how much he wanted to see Rodgers continue with the Packers.

He’s my quarterback!” the running back said. “I don’t want him to go nowhere.”

Several Packers fans share the same sentiments as these two athletes and wholeheartedly wish for Aaron Rodgers to get back on the field in the green and yellow.

No matter which side of the bridge you stand on, every NFL fan has to agree that Rodgers and Brady have been the torchbearers of excellence in the NFL. In terms of winning and regular season success, TB12 definitely has the edge over A-Rod. Having said that Rodgers holds the candle over Brady when it comes to passing ability. The two quarterbacks excel in different areas of the game. Rodgers is a more accurate passer while Brady is a clutch player who has won more games and made more fourth-quarter comebacks for his team. So, love it or hate it, the debate is bound to continue in barber shops for a long time.
