The fans in Philadelphia promptly booed him after the statement. And the NFL world didn’t spare the WWE legend either. The fans trolled Heyman left and right. Here are some fan reactions.
“How to start a riot 101,” a fan commented.
“Keep dreaming Paulie, come Sunday the Eagles will still be flying,” another fan said.
“He is lucky he didn’t start some bad sh*t saying that there,” another fan sighed.
“He’s been dying to say Brock again,” a fan said.
“Brock will get rocked by the D-line. 19 points at home is not impressive,” another fan commented.
“I think the Bloodline are Niners fans in real life,” a fan suggested.
Purdy is playing the biggest game of his small but undefeated career so far when he and the Niners take on the Eagles for the NFC championship title. Only one will remain standing at the end of the day. And the Niners rookie is in the form of his life.

Nobody took Brock Purdy seriously when the Niners drafted him last in the 2022 NFL draft. The fans called him ‘Mr Irrelevant’. But the rookie stepped up when he took the field due to an injury to starting QB Jimmy Garoppolo. Backup-Niners QB Trey Lance was already out injured. So, the Niners had no option but to field Purdy against the Miami Dolphins. The rest, as they say, is history.
Purdy threw 13 touchdown passes in the regular season as he took the Niners on a solid winning run towards the end of the regular season. The QB threw just four interceptions in that time period.

Purdy was impressive in the playoffs as well, throwing three touchdowns without an interception. Can he take the Niners to the Super Bowl in the first attempt? Or will the Eagles make Paul Heyman wish he had never said what he said.
