Tom Brady, Jim Gray, and Larry Fitzgerald opened season two of SiriusXM’s Let’s Go! Podcast. They touched upon various topics and reflected on Serena Williams’ tennis career. Brady had nothing but praise for the star and also expressed how they did the same thing.

Tom Brady mentioned, “Serena accomplished so much. What a joy it was to watch her play. She’s a friend of mine, and I just love her intensity, her competitiveness. Tennis won’t be the same without her. But you know what, tennis enjoyed a long run of great years with her in it and competing at the highest level, so you know that’s how you feel when you see LeBron James, Steph Curry, Michael Jordan, Serena Williams, Tiger Woods. these amazing players that have transcended sports and time and have laid it all out on the field, I think that’s what she means.”
TB12 also stated that she did not play for a while and then realized how much fun it is to participate. It does not feel good to be in the center. You assume it will be there, but it does not. Then they realize it, go out and play, and have fun.

Williams mentioned she wouldn’t be retiring if she was a guy, as she would perform and conquer as the wife did the physical job of growing the family.
