The Titans are eager to welcome DeAndre Hopkins to their training camp on July 25. The former Cardinals star could make up to $15 million in his first season with the Titans, NFL Media reports. Hopkins will team up with Ryan Tannehill, the Titans’ quarterback who excels at play-action passes. But his fans are completely disheartened and view his signing without Patrick Mahomes as a retirement move for a wide receiver.
Per reports, Hopkins was impressed by the Titans’ hospitality during his visit in June. The Titans hosted him in a suite at Nissan Stadium for CMA Fest, a country music festival that attracts thousands of fans. Hopkins also has a familiarity with Titans’ head coach Mike Vrabel and offensive coordinator Tim Kelly, who both worked with him in Houston.

DeAndre Hopkins is the newest addition to the Tennessee Titans, who signed him as a free agent for two years, per reports coming. The Titans were the first team to show interest in the former Arizona Cardinals star, who was also linked to the Bills and the Chiefs.
Wide receiver, who will turn 31 soon, was one of the NFL’s top receivers before his release on May 26. He confirmed his move to the Titans on social media, sparking a debate among fans about money and championships.
A fan reacted by saying money holds the utmost importance to athletes striving for their goals: “Championships don’t set up generations of wealth. Money is the most important thing to athletes who have done everything to work towards their goal, as it should be.”

Another person suggests it’s the Titans. Chiefs, Bills, Giants, Patriots—everyone would support Hopkins, but Tennessee is where receivers retire.
You got it wrong, brotha. The hate is for the Titans. Not you. Had you gone to the Chiefs, the Bills, the Giants or even the Patriots we ALL would have rooted for you. Tennessee is the place where receivers go to end their careers.

A fan questioned Money over Winning.
Guess the money outweighs winning, damn. You ain’t got no shot winning there.

A disheartened fan asked.
Seriously why the titans? You are one of my favorite players ever and you need to be on a real contender. I just don’t get the titans over the bills or chiefs?
