Way before making his way into acting, Brad William Henke was into the game of football. As a Columbus, Nebraska, native, Henke was a team captain during his college football career at the University of Arizona. He was a defensive lineman. The New York Giants drafted the athlete in 1989 but were released during training camp.

The defensive athlete later joined the Denver Broncos. Henke joined the team in Super Bowl XXIV against the San Francisco 49ers. However, due to injury, he retired from the sport in 1994.
